Some of my posts which seemed to have been either relatively popular, or which were helpful for me to write. If you liked any other posts, let me know and I’ll consider adding it to the list.
Neurodiversity
I have a mixture of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Asperger syndrome. My life and work have improved since I discovered this fact. I’m also trying to hit a balance between openness and discretion, not yielding to stigma and not calling too much attention to it at the same time. I write mainly to understand myself better, as a way of working out what exactly I have trouble with and which of those troubles I can work on.
- ADHD toolbox - things that I’ve found useful as somebody who was diagnosed in ADHD relatively late in life (age 32)
- conflicted about ADHD - what I wrote a couple of months before getting diagnosed; my blog history from years back is littered with frustrations which seem a little poignant now that I have access to medication. If only I’d known! Only thing left is to make up for lost time.
Life
- constant cost confusion - writing this helped me to clarify some of my thinking around the notion of cost
- religious pinball - in which I gradually begin to identify myself as both religious and atheistic, also notes on why I like tradition
